Reflection
1. At the beginning of this project, I came in know little to nothing about editing and the different softwares. The most common one I knew of was Cap-cut but I had no idea how to use it. I never really even had any interest in learning how to use it. However this project really changed that mentality and gave me the opportunity to learn something new. It introduced me to new programs that also involve editing videos. Not only in terms of editing but being and social and talking with an audience through programs I had never heard of, like blogger. Those were some of the technology I learned to use.
2. With this project, I learned a couple things I want to apply future projects and some that I applied to this one in particular. This project introduced me to a program I am planning on using for future reference. Whereas the program, i'm planning to use the same one and learn more about other features. This specific project showed me how much planning and working is necessary in meeting deadlines. It also showed me that my classmates are there to help me, not compete against me, and as such, I should ask for help when I need it. I learned about the execution on the lead up. Which I feel will help facilitate the process from now on. However, some of the ways I managed my time will be handled differently.
3. For the next project, which if I am not mistaken will be a music video, I will try to plan sooner and avoid procrastinating so much. I tried moving forward a lot but I had some metal block on how to do it exactly. I also want to plan things out beforehand so I can avoid so much investigating and I have a plan set out to make things more smooth. Learning is part of the process and I think that if I improve my editing skills, timing and planning, then the next project could turn out differently. For my first project however, I'm pretty proud of how my commercial came out. I'm proud, but I now I can do so much better if I learn more. Those are some of the things I learned and what I think I should change.
